It’s been just over a year since Manuli launched the EVO range of modular crimping machines, and their subsequent popularity with assemblers cannot be overstated.
Manuli Hydraulics is now pleased to announce that going forwards all EVO range crimping machines with SC & SCE control systems will now also be “Bluetooth Enabled” as standard.
A number of years ago Manuli launched a mobile crimping app on both Android and iOS platforms, intended to allow assemblers to ensure that they had the latest crimping data at their fingertips. Manuli have now updated this app to allow it to link directly to the SC and SCE systems on the new range of EVO crimpers. This allows users to remotely set the crimping diameter for any Manuli hose and ferrule combination using their mobile phone. Simply look up the crimping data required on the app, then press a button and send it directly to the machine ready to start crimping.
This functionality is part of Manuli’s drive to minimise potential assembly failures by eliminating the prospect of human error in inputting crimp data. As incorrect crimping can lead to catastrophic failure of a hose assembly, this is a prime example of how Manuli is focussed on ensuring the safety and reliability of their products for the end user.
